A prior diagnosis

Bono IA · IA360 plan · updated 26/09/2026The Spanish government has announced 600 million euros so that SMEs and the self-employed can put artificial intelligence to work in their business. The general call will open before the end of 2027 and will ask for things you can have ready today: a diagnosis, one concrete use case and the starting figures to measure the result against.
Everything here comes from the IA360 plan document published by the Spanish government on 21 September 2026. What isn't in there, I don't take for granted.
Source: the IA360 plan document (in Spanish), projects 10 and 11. When the rules are published, this page is updated the same day.
The plan ties the voucher to a prior diagnosis, a concrete use case, measuring the effect on productivity afterwards and training staff. And it says its design «would include» payment by milestones.

Not «putting AI into the company», but a process with a name: supplier invoices, tomorrow's appointments, the guest registration. With enough volume to make a difference.
To measure what changes you have to know how it was before: today's hours, errors and lead times, measured and not estimated. It is the thing most often forgotten and the only one that can't be reconstructed later.
Who is going to use it and what they need to learn. Including which data can leave the company and which can't, which is what almost nobody teaches.
Choose the process, measure what it costs now and get the data it will need in order. That is worth doing with or without the voucher: if the call opens as announced, you arrive with your homework done, and if it changes or is delayed, the work is just as done.
That is exactly what the AI Diagnosis does: one working session and a document with the four parts above.
The same path I follow with any process, with the papers the plan is going to ask for written along the way.
72 ha month typing invoices at a distributor in Tenerife, timed with a stopwatch before touching anything. Now it is six.
One concrete process, measured before starting and measured after, built on the systems the company already has and with the team trained to use it. I don't sell licences or closed products: I develop, integrate and stay to measure.
I'm in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. On the island I come to the company; in the rest of the Canary Islands and Spain I work remotely, with on-site days when needed. The invoice case, with its three mistakes.

Read, checked against the order and entered into the ERP. The ones that don't match go to a tray.

Video or phone call, free. I'll tell you which process I would take to the voucher, whether it's worth it and what you would need to have ready. If I see it isn't worth it, I tell you just the same.
